Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Anna continued to be a guest star in a number of television series and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood were also part of her acting career. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn played in a 4-part audio-play podcast called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final end reflect the final years of Walter White.
