Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark across the screens. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. In no time, she moved to Texas and pursued her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before moving in Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of acting roles, including local independent movies and commercials. Despite the small parts she soon discovered her love for acting. Then she moved in New York in 2001 and got her first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. Through the first half of the 2000s, she appeared in small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her first series part in The Mountain The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of her role in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. Her character received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. The year 2008 was the time she received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding Performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in a recurring cast role in CSI Miami was announced a moment or two later. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. After two episodes the series was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is born of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. She was raised in an environment that was strict and extremely spiritual. Milano was just seven years old when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked to be one of only four. Milano appeared in commercials for television as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
