DMX started rapping from the mid 1990s. In May 1998 the rapper released his debut album, It's DARK and HOT. Over the years he came out with several more albums like ... And then There was X And Then There Was X, Great Depression Year of the Dog... again the Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Blood Flesh. In 2001, his album was titled... and There was X received the Grammy nomination for the category of Best Rap Album. Aside from his musical pursuits, he also starred in movies such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five wounds that Never die by yourself The Bleeding Romeo muse Die Backstage behind the Law Lockjaw Rising of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
